Ring, ring , ring

What is black, salty and tastes like heaven???? Sorry, not caviar ah. Better than caviar. Taaaaa daaaaa............

For those who know me well enough, they would know that this is my favouritest food. Hahah, now you know lor. Dad knows this the secret to win my heart. That is why everytime i go back to malaysia, there would definitely be a few cans of this on stand by.

If this is health food, i would eat it everyday :) Alas, it is powerfully artery clogging, hence one would have to limit it's consumption.

There is another underlying reason why i would sometimesl leave it alone eventhough i crave to eat it..... and that is the lack of a good can opener. I have no idea how many times i had to force open the can when the can opener refused to budge any further. Argggggghhhh, why won't they just put a pull ring on the can!!! @#@!#*&^* (censored)

This is another classic example:

For those of you who haven't tried opening this kind of can, go buy one and try it yourself (dun be so suaku lar). This is even more frustrating than the fried dace can. As much as one would carefully wind the metal strip around the "key" that is provided, chances are it will break. Hence succumbing to violence again to force it open. Fingers crossed that there would be no blood spill. I remembered i once threw a can of luncheon meat away coz i really dun wanna risk getting tetanus.

Well well..... somewhere down the road i did discover some other brands of fried dace and luncheon meat cans that has pull rings. The luncheon meat taste is not compromised ....... but but but but but ........... the fried dace tastes like "pirated" fried dace :(

Ahahah, sometimes i do wonder is it because they know that ppl will be loyal to the product, so they keep their products as it is, to prove it's authenticity. Eg. if one day the "eagle coin brand" fried dace has pull rings, i would first ponder whether it is pirated or is it the real deal. Another possible theory would be they know that ppl die die also must eat that brand, so take it or leave it.

Anyways, enough with my whinning, i want pull rings on my cans plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss !!!!!!

PResenting to you another useful ring. For best results, pls microwave and dig in :)

I hardly eat can food nowadays...but I know what you mean when you have to pry them open (got to experience tat back then. If the pull ring don't budge, just use a can opener anyway for all types of can food :)
