Poetry 101

Read "An Orange Slice of Life" today, and Teacher marianne was teaching how to write poetry.
Ahahah, i had one on top of my head, here it is goes (excuse my Manglish) :

Hi my name is Joey,
Dun anyhow call me Poey,
Unless i say you can,
Do you understand??
Miss Au says my eyes are doey,
I turned around and asked her "why you say they are doughy?"

How?? Teacher, do i get full marks for this??

For extra points, I submit another one :)

My brains are scattered,
Coz it is tired,
Mark Harmon is on telly
Waiting for me!!!!

Toodles, me gonna catch NCIS :)

Thanks for playing along, Joey Poey!
But the rules for limericks can be quite strict, so I've re-wrtitten your poem here. (And edited my instructions on my post to make it clearer too.)

Teacher marianne - "Holy molely"... why didn't i think of that??
I like the poetry that you wrote about Miss Plum.
Perhaps you can teach your students how to write romantic poetry. Hhehe, is that a good suggestion??

~g~: Of course have to use brain ler. Writing blog requires brain juice too.
Ahahha, you get extra assignment, other than writing limericks, you hafta write a romantic poetry as well (hmmmm.... an ode to Jessica Alba??)

Marianne: HEheheeh, if you can, do get them to write (expo some results from your students ya!!!). I think it would capture their attention, coz they are the age where they would have gotten over " girls have girl germs and boys have cooties".

What!?!?!? You mean girls really don't have germs? : )
Ok, I'll take up the challenge and will come up with a limerick ... uh ... give me some time ... a little busy at the moment ... : )
