The answer to where does Curtin get the money from!!??

Q Q Q Q Q Queueeeeeeeee

The last few days of being "stuck" in Curtin, running around like a headless chook was quite an experience. Not that i haven't been a uni student before. Just that Murdoch when compared to Curtin is very much like a sleepy town. Curtin is massive, and there are humans in every imaginable corner. Eeeks!!!! Looks like city centre during christmas sale.

I am so glad that they did NOT merge the two universities together (MURTIN?? CURDOCH?? Whose brilliant idea was it anyway??!!). Otherwise i can't imagine the mess it would create. Navigating my way through Curtin was already challenging enough. Plenty of calorie- burning walking exercises to do :p

If one is running late for class, tough luck, coz number one you gotta find yourself a spot to park (it's like playing the "where's Wally" game) and number two depending on the distance from the car park to your lecture hall, you'd wish that you are born to sprint (or that the lecturer is late like you are).

The queue at the student administration looked like the Great Wall of China. Thought that I'd do the smarter thing by buying books first, coz there is no way i am going to get through that queue before lecture starts. Well, there is more queuing outside the bookshop. I decided to abandon ship and go to my lectures without my books. Around 3 pm, went back to check the queues, they are still going strong * faint*

Well, i am glad that the ordeal is over. And I guess i will be needing the Transperth bus card after all.

And say with me: MURDOCH is the better uni!!! Ahahahahahahahah :p

Sidetrack: Spending years of Sundays in Curtin, i do wonder where did they get so much money to be constantly constructing new buildings. My suspicions are confirmed now. My dental hygiene course would have cost me a whooping $25,000 a year had i enrolled as an international student. How many international students do they have in Curtin?? And the school fees goes up every year for every student (unlike Curtin and UWA where the school fees stay the same till the day you graduate).
