Life for sale

What might look like a wacky idea in the beginnning, now looks ingenious.

If you have been watching the news, you probably would have noticed this piece
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ALife4Sale-Life-For-Sale-Ian-Usher_W0QQitemZ250255442325QQihZ015QQcategoryZ149260QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I was curious how much money that would possibly fetch. Had a shock when i saw the current auction amount. Within one day, it had come up to a hefty amount of over 2 million!!!!! And 6 days more to go till the close of the auction.

Darn, i should have stolen his idea earlier.

Is it a true story about his divorce or is it just another easy peasy way to earn money?? Who knows?? Seems to me that this is a well planned gimmick. And i really scratch my head to fathom why the bidders are willing to shell out a few million dollars to buy his life, which i think doesn't add up to that sum??

With two million, one could have bought a better house in a posher surburb and nicer car etc.

Why huh??

I am for sale too!! No not my life, labour that is. House cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking. Bidding starts at $50/hour. Anyone up for it??
