Safe to drink

Read this from my textbook today: "Urine excreted by healthy kidneys is sterile". (That is until it is hits the toilet bowl ler).

Sterile means that it is free from bacteria and. Wow, so it is safe to drink your pee then.

I'm not advocating pee drinking as some cultures do, but in case of desperation, yes it is safe to do so.
