Good lesson
What dad said made sense.
" Why waste your food when you already said grace for it? Wasting food is wasting god's given blessing, god's given providence"

I think i've gotten so used to saying grace without meaning it . How bout you?

When someone fix up some security lights for you just in case you can't find the keyhole in the dark.
When we munch "kuaci" together while watching tv.
When someone washes dishes and clothes for you so that you can study in peace.
When eating a meal together (even if it was just instant noodles)
When someone comes home with a big fat ROAST CHICKEN and ......................... a whole lot of groceries (hahaha, he is truly a shopaholic- but for a good cause lar)
When someone likes the ice cream he is eating (even if it is only a 50 cent cone from Macs)
When someone watches "Father and Sons" while i study.

Work rant
Colleague asked me how many weeks i have been working at the cafe.
"Six weeks", i replied.
"Oh my gosh, you are one of the rare ones that have worked here for some time and still not a retard!!", she exclaimed.

Yup, that's right. The words f***, retard, b**** and feral are the common vocabs at my workplace.
I observed the same pattern of work ethics occuring here as it had when i was working at Mickey D's. Everyone thinks that they are working hard (and in reality some of them who think so are the utmost lazy worker), bitching about other ppl happens almost every other day and the "I don't care" attitude is like a recurring disease.
As of late, gossips and rumours have spread like wild fire (well, why would it not when ppl are standing around talking and not doing much work) and have reached the ears of the owner. A lot of ppl are very unhappy about it.
Almost every shift, back stabbing takes place. A and B will be talking about how lazy C is. And when A is working with C, A will be buddies with C, and in turn talk about how dirty B is at work. Wow... how malicious is that!!
Why is it that the so called adults still act like kindy kids?? Useless smear campaign that benefits nobody. No amount of bitching is going to get any work done. Stop talking and you'll get lot's of work done. Common sense??
For two more years i will be here in this place. Hopefully i will be able to leave this place with my brains intact. If one day i become insane, you will know why.
In saying that, i still get along with my colleagues, some of them are quite fun to work with.
Ok ok, enough ranting. Let's move on and hope for a better day :)
