An old soul

I don't know how well it was publicised. But anyways, just in case any of you didn't hear it.

For some of you, it might bring back some fond memories :)

Doulos, the floating bookshop has been here for about two weeks, and will be finishing this coming monday. It will be decomissioned in 2010, hence this is the last time it will be making it's voyage to Australia. So don't miss it! If you are curious, go have a peep, you will never see anything like this elsewhere.

Guided tours are available for $10 (very worthwhile), entry is by gold coin donations, parking is FREE. And......... please don't wear high heels, it will make it difficult to board the ship (don't say I didn't warn ya!)

Red, ripe and juicy

Out of the blue......
Classmate J: I wonder how a strawberry tree looks like?
Myself, classmate R and classmate M: -_-'''

This guy obviously needs to see for himself how it looks like, so off we went for an excursion.
HEeheh, strawberry TREES do not exist my friend........

The star today: the strawberry plant

You want a piece of me??

More strawberries .........

Hairy babies

My catch of the day :)

Don't be misled, this is not a strawberry buffet. Uncle very kiasu. The strawberries are not cheap, in fact more expensive than the shops. Not to mention the petrol $$$

Thriftiness die hard, my classmate who claims to be one quarter chinese. Plucking the stems off, so that she can save a few cents
-_-'''
