When you've grown wings to fly, don't forget who gave it to you
I watched the whole saga unfold, spanning over months and months.
I have a few thoughts. One, idiocracy can ruin one's life, especially when the person is both ignorant and arrogant, thinking that it is other's fault. Two, LOVE is really blind. Three, 20 over years of relationship can't beat a 2 year relationship (sad but true).
Girl, you think you can outsmart others by hiding in your hidey hole. One day, I assure you, your real ugly face will be exposed.
Boy, you think what you have in your hands is a priceless gem. One day, you will discover it is a vial of poison, a pile of dung.
I remember the story of Icarus of the greek mythology. You think you are soaring high, but a fall may be the very thing that awaits you.

Strange but maybe not
A few houses away, the road was sealed off with blue/white tape, flanked by a couple of police cars. Add on to that, a throng of tv station vehicles. Sound like a normal day to you?
Got down from my car and went to suss it out. My dad was already there watching. Apparently somebody was stabbed in a domestic dispute and probably had died from it. Oh dear.
This is the first time I ever witness filming near a crime site. Too close for comfort, may it never happen again. Out of curiousity we stood there waiting for the newscaster to do his thing and tell us what is going on. Actually, I don't think anyone knew the exact detail, coz the news came out all mixed up later on. Some say heart attack, some say stabbing. So who's right?
Being a newscaster isn't exactly all glamour and adventure. There is a lot of waiting around for the right moment to start cameras rolling. Poor dude stood under the hot sun, wearing a full suit, with flies buzzing around his face. At one point, he just took the can of insect repellent and sprayed his face, hehe.
And the stuff that you see on CSI, takes gazillion of hours to work the murder cases out I reckon. It took the forensic team a good half a day to process the evidence, they were still at work till the wee hours.
Strange enough, that was how we got to know a new neighbour. Poor girl couldn't go home coz her house was sealed off as well. Stood there chatting with her, and eventually invited her over for dinner, coz by the looks of it, the police wasn't leaving anytime soon.
A newfound friend from hong kong!! How strange to meet under such circumstances.
